ABOUT
We’ve commissioned the Cockburn Men’s Shed to build two new community libraries complete with noticeboard and Jarrah bench. Thanks also to locally-owned Resolve Automation for providing our weatherproof library boxes!
At this event, we’ll unveil the our first new library at the Lakeside Success Playground (under the big fig tree).
Local art teacher Rachel Law from Paper & Palette and her students will then decorate the library (live!) using stickers featuring local children’s artworks.
These high-quality UV-resistant stickers are provided by local business Little Grey Cat Co.
After the unveiling, we’ll enjoy a casual picnic on the grass, plus giant games for all to enjoy!
Our committee will be there to meet you and collect feedback, so you’ll also get the opportunity to share your thoughts with us, and tell us what you want to see in the future of Success!
WE’LL PROVIDE
We’ll provide fresh fruit and giant games.
Local ice-cream truck will also be there serving up the goods.
